The entry-level pharmacy degrees are B. Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D. etc, in different parts of the world. One of these degree is required to apply for licensure and to practice as a pharmacist. Are post-graduate studies required (or recommended) in your country to progress your career? Hello everybody, Every country has rules and regulation for opening a new pharmacy. We are interested in knowing the restrictions and regulations in terms of opening new pharmacies in different countries. If you could describe about this or forward any website that contains such information, it will be very grateful. You can write your response in post your comment section. Thank you and have a great day. | Feb 06, 2005 20:15 HT | Question of the Week: Continuing Education for Pharmacists
This weeks question comes to us from a young pharmacist in Iraq: Does your national pharmaceutical association conduct and implement continuing education programs in pharmacy practice? If so, could you relay any related course to the this pharmacist's community? Your feedback and experience will be helpful to compare national standards | Jan 29, 2005 18:47 HT | Question of the Week: Salary of the Pharmacist
Pharmacists salaries is a curious theme worldwide. However, the amount of money that is paid will typically correlate with the cost of living in your country.... so a direct comparison of salaries is unhelpful. Considering that, this week's question is: What is a 'typical pharmacist salary' in your country? AND... What is the 'typical' charge for an apartment's monthly rent? dining out? | Jan 23, 2005 02:25 HT | Question of the Week: Working Hours and Vacations
This weeks question for Pharmacists is a simplebut curious one: How many hours is your typical work day? What is the standard/typical amount of vacation per year in your country? Pharmacists from around the globe are welcome to post their comments!
